Warne, STOP shitting and play cricket !

So another dirty mind game on card!

It was an IPL encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Rhiders; In the post match conference spin wizard Shane Warne critisized the most successful Indian Cricket captain Saurav ganguly for lack of sporting spirit. He summed up couple of reasoning - firstly, Ganguly made him waiting at the toss and secondly, Ganguly appealed to the umpire to take help of the third umpire to judge a doubtful catch.

Well, Ganguly was really at the wrong end if he was really late at the toss or at starting the batting of the second innings for KKR. And its pretty obvious that Warne did not like it (if it had happened at all); he got irritated and frustrated in that boiling heat of 45 degree Centigred. And that is why he made that outbrust in the press conference.

Now whatever it was, the question is whether Warne has any authority to raise finger against Ganguly. If Ganguly did anything wrong there are offcials and rule makers of IPL to monitor the same as well as penalise him if required. Then why Warne accused Ganguly of such a mean offence. Is it only a dirty mind game the aussies do believe in? Is it an effort to unsettle the captain of KKR? It can be anyway - but bottomline is that Warne has no right to critisize Ganguly.

Warne's second issue was with Ganguly's appealing to take the help of the third umpire. Warne shouted at the press conference claiming the Ganguly's catch taken by South African captain Graeme Smith was clear & clean. He argued that Smith is an international captain and when he claimed that the catch was clean, Ganguly should have accepted. Thats quite interesting; isn't it ?

Look at the situation of the game.Your team is chasing a run with asking rate almost 10 per over; you lost few wickets and then trying to build up a realistic chance of a real chase. You found the opposition looking for a break through is claiming a doubtful catch as clean. In such a situation, it is not strange or against the spirit of the game that you went to appeal to take help of technology to decide about the catch decision. And eventually you are declared NOT OUT.

Mr. Warne! Had you forgotten the third umpire verdict at the press conference? Third umpire declared Ganguly NOT OUT and that implied that the catch was not taken clean by Smith. What is wrong in that appealing then ? And nobody forgot how World champion captain ridiculed the spirit of the game by helping on field umpire to make his decision only a few months back. Yes dude, I am taking about the famous Ponting's finger which had given Ganguly out in stead of the onfield umpire in one test match in Australia. Warne, are you still claiming that the international captains are always clean? Or are you saying, they are just GOD? And Ganguly is also very famous and well known international cricketer and the most successful captain of India. And his stand was supported by the third umpire decision.

Sometime on cricket field, fielders take catches without knowing whether those were taken clearly. Those happen in a fraction of second and players always concentrate on the ball rather trying to help the umpires. Its not sure how clear Smith was to himself but they should have taken in right spirit of Cricket if onfield umpire has no issue to take help of the third umpire.
Now one thing was very important in Warne's press conference outbrust. He tried to single out the fact that Ganguly went to the indian onfield umpire. What did Warne meant by that? It is very very shameful and unfortunate comment by the Rajastan Royals captain. Probably another mind game. Whats on !!! Does he have any doubt about indian umpire's creditibility? Or is he sparking some OTHER issue and trying to put pressure on the umpires. Ganguly went to the bowler's end umpire quite naturally and only Warnie knew why he got to single that out saying 'Indian Umpire'. Whatever it is...Warne, you are not allowed to shit in India at all.

Warne tried to be a spokeperson of 'Cricket Spirit'; Isn't that funny? Warne, the same cricketer who created a black chapter in the world cricket history by taking performance enhancing forbidden drugs. He was banned from all kind of cricket and then he put his mother as an excuse. What a shame to cricket as well as to the humanity. Forget about Warine's off field scandals; he was involved in match fixing ficaso and was fined by the Cricket Australia as well. Apart from that he was the one of the leading sledger of the world cricket. And those are also not in correct spirit of the game. Even the australian cricket administrators well aware of the Warne's cricket spirit and that is why they turned their face away from him and rewarded national captainship to Steve Waugh and Ponting. Warne's cricket acumen and legendary record was not enough to save his day. Those were far lesser than his lack of 'Cricket Spirit'.

Its really nice to see someone like Warne is shouting for the reason of cricket, for the 'spirit of cricket'. But his reasoning and type of statement raised a number of questions about his intention. He us trying to demoralize the KKR captain; trying to disgrace the one of the best team leader of cricket as well as he is trying to influence the umpiring by categorizing 'indian' umpires.

Warne is a legendary spinner and with a great cricket acumen. But he is again at his dirtiest best and playing all the mind game and banter. And the worst part is that he is talking about something which either is baseless or should be taken care by IPL rule makers. Not by the individual Warne.

This is real competetive cricket -all the teams are determinded to win matches. Ganguly was no exception as a cricket player. And Warne also has full right to ploy all the ways he can. But here we can see, Warnie is doing overtime at office helping out the IPL officials as well as trying to dictate players of other teams & umpires. Now Warnie not only captaining & coaching the Rajasthan Royals team but also mentoring players of other teams and teaching other players and umpires the spirit of cricket. Oh, God! how unfortunate we are to see all these!

Now Warnie, would you please stop shitting and creating a bizzare? Play your cricket because that is what you are being paid for. No free service is required, PLEASE!
