Maoist - what's the answer? : Part -2

A section of our intellect society & politicians are opposing the 'Operation Green Hunt' on humanitarian ground. If this is not enough, they are also trying to justify the armed Naxalite movement citing the above mentioned reasons. But it's neither logical nor practical. Can 'Dantewada massacre', 'Jehanabad district jail attack', 'Rani Bodli attack' and many more like these ? be justified by any reasoning? Can killing of innocent people with one & only goal of seizing the state power, be supported by any rationale?

Maoist - what's the answer? : Part -1

'India's greatest internal security threat' - exactly this is the phrase the Indian prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has used to acknowledge the threat the left-wing extremism is posing against the state. Recently, the deadliest attack on the security forces by the Maoist (Naxalites) in the thick forest of Mukrana in Dantewada district of Chattisgarh state killed 75 CRPF security personnel. This kind of Naxalite violence is becoming more frequent and causing severe damage to the lives and property. The Maoist movement raised a serious question before us and our independence. To counter this threat the state has intensified the security measures which is referred to as 'Operation Green Hunt? by media. But not all quarters are in favor of this intensification. Some due to humanitarian reason and some to satisfy their political equations.

World Cup 2010, South Africa : Group B

Keep the Argentina aside; all the other three teams are very close in term of strength and chance to make it to the knockout. Nigeria surely will be inch ahead from their European and Asian opponent; also, they are playing in their continent. Though pundit will call the Argentina as group favorite but all paper calculation can be in mess if any of the three teams can make an upset against Argentina.

World Cup 2010, South Africa - Group A

Group A was supposed to be one of the easiest group considering the host nation was marked seeded. But ultimately it turned out to be one of the interesting and toughest group. Teams in this group are very close in terms of strength and chances. Though most of us may suggest France can easily out-score the other team in the group but the recent performances by the les blues are not that convincing.

a romantic date with her!

Couple of days back, I put up one question on the social networking website Facebook: what's the most romantic gift you can present to your beloved? Well, I did not receive that much responses which I was expecting. Probably because, I was not asking at the right place or people are too busy in e-romance. I strongly believe even in 2010- there are lovers who feel incomplete even after terabytes of e-romance. Even in the busiest moment of life, they want to go beyond '3' (this is love sign in Topeka aka google talk) and feel every drop of life.

Four Chap-ters!

She just took the hand towel from the service provider airhostess but did not use it but keeping it in hand. She opted from orange juice, had few sips...being busy with her novel she ultimately ended up pouring the juice on seat, her clothes & her novel. In addition, part of my seat. Probably this experience made her more nervous and she did not even accept the breakfast in the flight.

Was it her first fly alone? Altogether first flight? So nervous! So much effort to hide inside the book and newspapers; Well I will never know the fact...can you guess about my fourth chapter?

A Wednesday!

Q. And if you had the proof you would turn them (terrorists India demands from Pakistan) over?

A. If we had the proof, we would try them in our courts, we would try them in our land and we would sentence them

Q. What would you do with him if you found him (Osama Bin Laden who is suspected to be in Pakistan)?

A. That's a hypothetical question. Hopefully arrest and try him

Q. In Pakistan?

A. We can see, we can talk about it. It's a hypothetical question, Larry. First let's find him. Nobody has been able to find him in the past eight years.

No, this is not something new at all. "Double standard" is something they (Pakistan) are using from the very beginning and it's no wonder that they are still demanding themselves clean of the responsibility of Mumbai massacre. The president of Pakistan shamelessly spoke double standard in the famous CNN show "Larry King Live". Not only this, he also proudly talked about the Pakistan democracy (!!??) and deceived the whole world using his wife's (Benazir Bhutto) murder. A lifelong criminal is now the president of an on-paper democratic country and he is talking about honesty and goodwill. How can we expect anything good from him? Read Full Article
